The State Treasury has just announced a government bond auction plan in 2023.

Accordingly, VND400,000 billion of government bonds will be bid on Hanoi Stock Exchange. This figure will include the issuance volume for Vietnam Social Insurance, of which VND108,000 billion will be issued in the first quarter.

Specifically, the 5-year and 7-year terms are VND8 trillion. 10-year and 15-year terms are VND45 trillion. The 20-year and 30- year terms are VND 5 trillion.

According to the State Treasury, during the implementation process, there may be an adjustment in the issuance volume of bond terms in accordance with the market and capital use needs of the State budget.

On February 1, the Hanoi Stock Exchange held three auctions of government bonds, including one auction of VND 500 billion for 5-year government bonds; the two auctions for 10 and 15-year government bonds with both offering prices of VND5,000 billion.
