The export turnover and import turnover hit US$51.1 billion and US$52.446 billion, respectively.

The total trade in goods at the department increases by about US$14 billion compared to the previous year.

This may be the second consecutive year that the import and export turnover hits US$100 billion or more.

In October, the department processed about 184,686 declarations, down 0.13% compared with 2021 and up 1.59% month-on-month, including 97,588 import declarations and 87,098 export declarations.

In the first ten months of the year, the department processed about 1.9 million declarations.

The department’s revenue saw a year-on-year increase of 20.53% or VND11,152.98 billion to VND65,470.5 billion, meeting 83.9% of the target set by the General Department of Vietnam Customs.
