The new price list of Registration fees for automobiles and motorcycles must be updated

Implementing the Government’s Decree No. 140/2016/ND-CP dated November 10, 2016 on the Registration fees, the Ministry of Finance issued Circular No. 304/2016/TT-BTC on promulgation of the Price list of Registration fees for automobiles and motorcycles. The General Department of Taxation required the local Tax Departments to register the leading-units which manage Registration fees and receive the information from the General Department of Taxation to implement synchronously in the country and facilitate for receiving the information and collecting, reporting and deploying in a timely fashion.
Concurrently, the local Tax Departments must send the reports to add the prices which are not in the price list or prices which increased/reduced by over 20% under the guidance of report form of the General Department of Taxation
Any obstacles arising from practical situations in local Departments, the General Department of Taxation also requests the local Tax departments to report immediately to have the measures to remove the obstacles on time.

On November 15, 2016, the Ministry of Finance issued Circular No. 304/2016/TT-BTC on promulgation of the Price list of Registration fees for automobiles and motorcycles to implement synchronously in the country for 63 price lists of 63 provinces as previously.
According to the General Department of Taxation, this is one of the contents on reform of tax administrative procedures and facilitation for taxpayers under the provisions of Resolution 19/NQ-CP on the tasks and key measures to improve the business environment and enhance national competitiveness and Resolution 36a/NQ-CP on e-government.
