The Ho Chi Minh City dialogue system answers more than 1.200 questions of enterprises

According to the ITPC, implementing the Direction of the People’s Committee on support to remove difficulties and obstacles for enterprises, the ITPC continued to perform well its role as a Head of Executive Board of the dialogue system between the City’s authority and enterprises by 2 methods which were direct dialogue and online dialogue.

In 2016, the ITPC held 17 dialogues on Tax, Customs, labor, social insurance, construction, environment, planning, trade, investment and traffic. There were 2,196 enterprises with 3,167 attendants and 684 direct questions of enterprises which were answered.

Together with the direct dialogues, the online dialogue system continued to be a channel to remove difficulties, which the business community trusted in. The members of the dialogue system including departments, agencies and districts of Ho Chi Minh City and the central departments and agencies often joined in answering the online questions and dealing with obstacles of enterprises in a timely fashion. In 2016, these authorities received and answered 540 questions of enterprises.

Particularly, with the topic “Listen and renovate”, the meeting conference between the City’s leaders and foreign investors in 2016 received many comments from foreign business association and investors in the hope of together building Ho Chi Minh city to be a centre of economy, trade, information and technology, culture and education and training of the region.
