Of which, revenue from crude oil grew 2.3% year-on-year to 74.7% of the estimate or VND34,377 billion. Domestic revenue is estimated at VND985,325 billion, equal to 68.4% of the estimate, up 15.7% over the same period last year.
According to revenues and taxes, the whole sector has 14/20 revenues and taxes that are quite good (over 65%), of which some large revenues such as: revenue from the foreign invested enterprise sector is estimated to reach 66.7% of estimate; revenue from the non-state economic sector is estimated at 72.7%; and revenue from personal income tax is estimated at 72.7%.
Revenues from fees and charges are estimated at 70.6%; Land rents and water surface rents are estimated at 83.7%; lottery activities are estimated at 76.1%. According to the General Department of Taxation, 26/63 local units saw good performance of State budget collection (over 65% of estimate).
In addition to the results achieved, the General Department of Taxation assessed that the seven-month budget revenue was quite good, mainly focusing on corporate income tax revenues, remaining profits came from state-owned enterprises and lottery companies and balance difference of the State Bank. If excluding these three revenues, domestic revenue managed by tax authorities only reached 62.3% of the estimate.
According to the General Department of Taxation, the results of seven-month revenue shows the signs of gradual recovery which is not even and sustainable among revenues, taxes, areas, markets, industries and sectors; there are still 6/20 revenues and taxes and 37/63 localities have low revenue progress compared to estimates (below 65%).
