Therefore, in order to continue the task of tax administration from the first days of 2020, the General Director of the General Department of Taxation recommended that heads of tax agencies at all levels must arrange and assign specific tasks to public employees to perform the task of State budget collection and urge, support and create favorable conditions for taxpayers to promptly perform tax obligations, especially revenues, corporate income tax, dividends, remaining profits temporarily paid in the fourth quarter of 2019, value added tax of enterprises that declare and pay tax on a quarterly basis.
According to the Official Telegraph, through grasping the situation and rapid reports of tax departments, the tax sector has welcomed the Lunar New Year in a joyful, warm, safe and economical atmosphere.

Particularly for enterprises and taxpayers who have made electronic declarations, there is a need to arrange and assign tax officers on dutyand supporting online even on Saturdays and Sundays.

In particular, the Director of the General Department of Taxation requested the entire tax sector to strictly comply with the Prime Minister's Official Telegraph and the Ministry of Finance's Directive on the prevention and control of acute respiratory syndrome caused by new strains of coronavirus.

At the same time, it must be ready to coordinate closely with local agencies, departments, sectors and authorities to ensure readiness to respond to the prevention and control of the epidemic.

In Hanoi, to ensure good service for taxpayers from the first days of the new year, Hanoi Tax Department has seriously followed the regulations of the Government, the Ministry of Finance, the General Department of Taxation, and the City People's Committee in observance of rules and disciplines; directed and requested its departments and branches to rearrange civil servants in performance, especially civil servants receiving administrative procedures at the “one-door” area and the area of registration collection and others.

Accordingly, during the first working days after the Lunar New Year holiday, at Hanoi Tax Department (from the department’s office to 27 district an commune-level and regional tax branches), tax officers arranged at "one-door" area, the area of registration collection and others are capable, enthusiastic, have good moral qualities and culture in communication and conduct to receive records and helptaxpayers solve problems.

At the same time, regularly monitoring, urging, supervising and promptly reminding cadres and civil servants in the units to strictly implement the internal rules and working regulations, work-handling processes, and raising sense of responsibility to serve taxpayers and the people.
