Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation’s attendance in the high-level week of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), bilateral activities in the US, and official visit to Brazil have obtained substantive and comprehensive results, said Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son.

The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on September 2 adopted a resolution on the organisation of a “High-level meeting on pandemic prevention, preparedness and response”.

In the address, Giang recalled Việt Nam’s history of enduring wars, saying that conflicts today stem from “obsolete doctrines of power politics, the ambition of domination and the use of force in settling international disputes”.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc will lead a Vietnamese delegation to the high-level General Debate of the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 73) in New York, the US, announced the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
