Rushing to implement project of air cargo supervision

VCN – According to the plan, from 15/10/2017, the project of air cargo management and supervision will be officially launched at Noi Bai International Airport. Currently, the units under General Department of Vietnam Customs, Hanoi Customs Department and enterprises are rushing to complete checking professional cargo management system in the airport between air cargo warehouse enterprises and Customs authority.

According to Hanoi Customs Department, after a period of preparation, Customs authority has completed steps to implement the project of air cargo supervision, including Building connection system with the air cargo warehouse; organizing trail to test connection; Complete and organize trail to test the professional operation; Revise to complete the system after the trail in order to deploy as target date.

There are currently 3 air cargo warehouses operating in Noi Bai have also taken the steps in the trial process and basically succeed. So it has reached the final stages.

In Vietnam, there are 66 airlines registered in Vietnam; The number of airlines operating regular flights (seasonal schedule) is 53 airlines, in that the number of airlines operating in Noi Bai is 48 airlines.

According to Hanoi Customs Department, the implementation of the National Single Window mechanism and the project of air cargo management and supervision help the State management agencies to closely and effectively manage proactive and quick clearance. Furthermore, identify and manage businesses, passengers, shipments and key flights by managing information from the pre-flight until the goods are cleared; Agreed on data standards, connections between state management agencies to simplify procedures, reduce costs, enhance the efficiency of state management; Businesses can reduce waiting time, effort and human resource for the creation, printing, and preparation, submitting dossiers for each flight to various state agencies; State management agencies not only have improved the management efficiency of airway but also reducing the time and human resource for receiving manual paperwork.
