One more container containing fake goods worth 30 billion vnd was seized

The competent force conducted physical inspection and discovered a large amounts of clothing, shoes, fashion accessories, handbags, phone accessories that labeled famous brand such as: Addidas, Gucci, Chanel, Hermes,… inside container.

According to a representative of Unit 4, the above shipment was among 13 cargo containers of 5 enterprises that were transported from Guangzhou (China) to Vietnam via Cat Lai port then transporting to Cambodia by land.

Earlier, on 21/6, Unit 4 collaborated with Southern Anti-smuggling Enforcement Unit (Unit 3) and Online Customs Supervision Division (Division 3) under Anti-smuggling and Investigation Department; Saigon port area 1 Customs Branch inspected a container that contained a large amount of clothing, shoes, fashion accessories, watches that had suspicious sign of fake goods from famous brand such as: Addidas, Puma, Converse,…

Through the inspection, Customs force detected inside the container was a large amount of clothing, shoes, fashion accessories, handbags, phone accessories that labeled famous brand such as: Addidas, Puma, Converse, Chanel, Hermes; Apple, Samsung, Giorgiormni. Those brand have registered for border control and intellectual property rights protection in Vietnam. The above goods have a sign of smuggling for consumption in Vietnam.

Hence, Unit 4 continuous to inspect other 10 cargo containers of 4 companies in accordance with procedure of Intellectual property Law : Dai Kim Minh Co., Ltd; TAD Logistics Co., Ltd; Swift Freight Logistics Co., Ltd; Anh Khoa Support Services Transport Co., Ltd that opened declaration of independent transport for the same type of goods as mentioned above.
