Number of enterprises resuming operation increased by 67.5%

The number of enterprises reduced by 1.4% and the amount of registered capital fell by 11.6% in comparison with the previous month. Nonetheless, the number was rather good in comparison with the same period of 2015. The number of enterprises went up by 45.8% and the amount of registered capital was raised by 78%.
In July 2016, the whole country had 1,804 enterprises resuming their operation, decreasing by 5.2 % in comparison with the last month. However, there were 5,933 enterprises which faced difficulties and ceased operations (increased by 10.6%) and 915 enterprises which finished dissolution procedures and stopped their operation (increased by 5.9%)
The report also pointed out in the first 7 months of this year, there were nationwide 64,122 enterprises newly registered with a total registered capital of 497 thousand billion VND, increasing by 23.3% in terms of enterprise amount and going up by 54.7% of registered capital compared with the same period of the year 2015. Together with 894.9 thousand billion VND of supplemented capital, the total amount of registered capital adding to the economy in the 7 months of the year 2016 reached 1391.9 thousand billion VND.
In accumulation for the 7 months, the number of enterprises which resumed their operation was 16,706, increasing by 67.5% in comparison with the same period of the previous year.
However, as shown in the report, the number of enterprises which completed the disintegration formalities and ended manufacture and trading was 6,422 in the 7 months, mounting up by 17.7% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Remarkably, the amount of enterprises which finished the procedures to wind up and stop their production and commercial transactions decreased by 2.7% in the same period of the year 2015 compared with the year 2014.
Besides, the number of enterprises coping with difficulties and pausing their operation in the 7 months of this year was 36,206, climbing up by 11.9% in comparison with the same period of the last year.
