Mong Cai: Arresting the person who transport many tablets suspected to be drugs

At 8.20pm on December 12, 2016, at the border area of the landmark 1369 (2)+500 meters of Zone 1, Tran Phu Ward, Quang Ninh province, Border Station of the Mong Cai International Border Gate collaborated with the Integrated Control Station No.2 under the Customs Enforcement Team No.1 to patrol and detect the perpetrator who was transporting 4 blue paper boxes 20cm x 10cm x 2 cm which were wrapped plastic outside and printed “Ben Tre coconut candy of Truong Thinh” on the boxes and many other foreign letters containing 5 plastic bags inside with tablets with white round cylinder shape suspected to be drugs.

Besides, the functional forces also seized 1 black Iphone which had 1 China sim card and 1 Nokia black mobile phone which had one Viettel sim card.

Currently, the functional forces made the record and arrested the perpetrator at the Border Station of the Mong Cai International Border Gate to verify the tablets to handle as per regulations.
