In pictures: President Quang’s activities in Peru

President Quang and the high-ranking delegation arrived in Lima on November 17.

Representatives from the Peruvian Government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Vietnamese Embassy welcomed the President and delegation at the airport.

President Quang met Peruvian business leaders on November 18.

Quang held talks with Peru counterpart Pedro Paplo Kuczynsky.

At a meeting with Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla, the Vietnamese State leader asked Indonesia to give humanitarian treatment to detained Vietnamese fishermen in the spirit of the two countries’ traditional friendship and cooperation.

President Quang attended a workshop with the US – APEC Business Coalition.

He met Chinese President Xi Jinping,

Russian President Vladimir Putin,

Chilean President Michelle Bachelet,

Papua New Guinea Prime Minister Peter O’Neill,

US President Barack Obama,

Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau,

and Mexico President Enrique Peña Nieto.

President Quang attended a dialogue and a group meeting with the APEC Forum’s Business Advisory Council (APAC) on November 20.

At the talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, President Quang affirms Vietnam always considers Japan as the leading and long-term partner and wishes to further deepen the extensive strategic partnership with Japan.
