In this list, there are 136 enterprises with tax debts and fees of nearly 83.7 billion vnd and 8 enterprises owing land charges of 16.7 billion vnd. In particular, there are a number of enterprises with a large amount of tax debts, such as Thanh Nghia Services, Trade and Production Company Limited (with a tax debt of 5.8 billion vnd); Cascade Vietnam Joint Stock Company (with a tax debt of 4.8 billion vnd); Hoang Tung Development Company Limited (with a tax debt of 3.8 billion vnd), and Song Hong Real Estate Construction Joint Stock Company (3.1 billion vnd).

There are also many enterprises owing a large amount of land charges such as Soc Son Engineering and Steel Structure Joint Stock Company (with a tax debt of 4.67 billion vnd); Sotraco Investment and Mineral Mining (with a tax debt of 2.8 billion vnd) and 810 Traffic Work Construction Joint Stock Company (with a tax debt of 2.3 billion vnd).

According to the Hanoi Taxation Department, from the beginning of 2016, the Hanoi Taxation Department implemented a series of solutions uniformly and drastically. Accordingly, on 29th April 2016, the Hanoi Taxation Department issued Official Letter No. 26 994/CT-QLN to direct 30 Taxation Branches to establish a Steering Committee on tax debt collection. Through the implementation of direct measures on tax debt collection, in November 2016, the total tax debt which the Hanoi Taxation Department collected was more than 10,514 billion vnd.

With the support from the Tax offices, most taxpayers have observed the Law and Policies on tax. However, there are still some businesses which have not seriously and fully implemented the provisions of the Tax Law, leading to tax debts over a long period.

In order to ensure the equality in the taxpayer community, the Hanoi Taxation Department has collaborated with media agencies to publicize the list of enterprises with tax debts both on the mass media and the website of the Hanoi Taxation Department.

In the first 11 months of 2016, the Hanoi Taxation Department publicized 11 sessions, including 1,636 enterprises with a tax debt of more than 3,215 billion vnd. After the publicity on the mass media and the website of the Hanoi Taxation Department, 732 of 1,636 enterprises paid taxes of 432.7 billion vnd.
