Hoa Tho Textile & Garment is recognized as AEO in Customs field

VCN – Director General of Vietnam Customs Department Nguyen Van Can signed a Decision 1440/QĐ-TCHQ on acknowledgement of authorized economic operator (AEO) in Customs field for Hoa Tho Textile & Garment Joint Stock Corporation (Da Nang).

According to Post Clearance Audit Department (General Department of Vietnam Customs) – the units in charge to implement AEO program said that, Hoa Tho Garment Joint Stock Company is one of the largest textile and garment enterprises in Da Nang and the whole country. The value of import and export turnover is $US 320 million in 2017.

By adding Hoa Tho Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company, there are 6 garment enterprises (100% domestic capital) in the country as AEO in the field of customs.

Other enterprises include Viet Tien Garment Corporation; Tien Tien Garment Joint Stock Company; Garco 10 Joint Stock Company; TNG Trading and Investment Joint Stock Company; Song Hong Garment Joint Stock Company.

At present, 66 enterprises are applying AEO regime in the customs field.

According to Circular 72/2015 / TT-BTC on priority enterprises, one of the important conditions to be considered and recognized related to export turnover of enterprises. Specific conditions for enterprises are as follows:

Enterprises (ordinary import-export) achieved import-export turnover of $US 100 million / year or more;

Enterprises (exports of goods made in Vietnam) achieve export turnover of $40 million USD / year or more;

Export enterprises of agricultural and aquatic products that are produced or raised in Vietnam reached turnover of $US 30 million per year or more;

Enterprises, which are customs broker agents, must have the serial number of customs declarations which have done procedures by the agents in the year, reaching 20,000 declarations per year or more;

In cases where enterprises are granted the high-tech enterprise certificates by the Ministry of Science and Technology according to the provisions of the Law on High Technologies, they shall not consider the turnover conditions.
