Hanoi: 441 units still on list of tax debt

In the first public list, as of September 30, there were 363 units owing more than VND 44 billion of taxes, fees, land rent fee, fines and late payment interest.
As of September 30, topping the list of tax and fee debts is Thang Long Real Estate Joint Stock Company with debt of more than VND 2.7 billion. According to the Hanoi Tax Department, from October 1 to November 8, 2019, the company has only paid VND 238 million of debt (which was accounted for in the application of tax authorities). Dat Viet Group Joint Stock Company has a debt of more than VND 1.8 billion.
In addition, three units owe more than VND 7.5 billion of land rent fee, fines and late payment interest of land rent fee. The Railroad Service Joint Stock Company of Zone 1 owes more than VND 6.7 billion.
The Hanoi Tax Department has also publicised 78 units owing more than VND 61.5 billion in taxes, fees, fines and late payment interest. These are units that were publicised by the department in previous years. Topping this list is Vinawaco 25 Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company, with a debt of more than VND 12.8 billion.
Truong Giang Construction Company owes more than VND 5.8 billion; High-tech Electrical and Telecommunication Technical Development Company Limited owes VND 5.5 billion; Lisohaka Joint Stock Company owes 5.3 billion VND and Rosland Joint Stock Company owed VND 4.7 billion.
Thus, from the beginning of 2019, the Hanoi Tax Department publicised the first list of 1,976 units owing taxes, fees, fees related to land, fines and late payment interest with a total debt of more than VND 2,615 billion. At the same time, it republicised 572 units with the total debt of more than VND 4,542 billion. It publicised total 2,548 businesses and projects with total debt of more than VND 7,157 billion.
