Focus on implementing fiscal and state budget tasks for 2017

The Directive clearly stated that in order to take the initiative in managing revenue and expenditure tasks in 2017 according to the estimates assigned by the National Assembly to ensure public debt within the limits; the Prime Minister has requested Ministers, the Heads of the ministerial-level agencies, the heads of the State agencies attached to the Government, other central agencies and the Heads of the People's Committees of the provinces and cities based on their assigned functions and tasks.
Organizing and implementing Resolutions of the Party, the National Assembly, and the Government; controlling the State budget estimates for 2017 actively, closely and strictly in line with the provisions of the Law, to tighten financial discipline.
In particular, focusing on the implementation of the State Budget Law in 2015, the National Assembly's Resolutions on the five-year socio-economic development plan for 2016-2020, the plan on restructuring the economy for 2016-2020, the five-year national financial plan for 2016-2020, the medium-term public investment plan for 2016-2020 and the Government's action plan for the implementation of Politburo’s Resolution No. 07-NQ / TW of 18th November 2016 on policies and measures to restructure the State budget and public debt management to ensure a safe and sustainable national finance.

Specifically, the authorities shall focus on the following issues: speeding up the restructuring of budget revenues and expenditures, determining to collect over the budget estimate, ensuring the State budget to be balanced, cutting recurrent expenditure, reinforcing restructuring and equitization of State-owned enterprises.
