VCN - According to the Ministry of Finance, from the beginning of the year to June 21, 2024, 41 enterprises have issued private corporate bonds with a total value of VND 110.2 trillion.

This figure is 2.6 times higher than the same period in 2023, of which credit institutions account for 63.2% (equivalent to VND 69.6 trillion) and real estate enterprises account for 28.6% (equivalent to VND 31.5 trillion).

Institutional investors purchasing corporate bond on the primary market account for 94.8% of the issued volume, concentrated on credit institutions (53.5%) and securities companies (21.9%); individual investors (5.2%).

The average corporate bond issuance rate is 7.41%/year and the average issuance term is 3.78 years; 14.5% of bonds issued have a guarantee clause. The volume of early repurchase is VND 59.8 trillion (down 39% compared to the same period in 2023).
