By the end of 2019, 95% of Hanoi enterprises will use e-invoices

According to Decree No. 119/2018/ND-CP dated September 12, 2018 stipulating the need for electronic invoices when selling goods and providing services, the expansion of the application of electronic invoices is basically completed in 2019 in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and other major cities. This regulation was one of the main key tasks in 2019 that has been directed by the Government in Resolution No. 01/NQ-CP dated January 1, 2019 about major tasks and solutions to implement the plan of socio-economic development and state budget estimates in 2019.
According to the Hanoi Tax Department, in order to promote the expansion of electronic invoices, ensure the fulfillment of the key tasks of revenue management under the direction of the Government, the Ministry of Finance and the Hanoi People's Committee, to ensure the application of electronic invoices in Hanoi City worked synchronously, effectively, the target of the unit was set that 95% of enterprises would apply e-invoices by December 31, 2019.
Leaders of the Hanoi Tax Department requested all tax officials to actively research and grasp the contents of the plan and roadmap for e-invoice deployment in the fourth quarter of 2019 at the Hanoi Tax Department.
The Hanoi Tax Department also requested officials and employees of the Inspection Departments, the Inspection Team and the Propaganda Team of the Tax Branches to actively propagate, mobilize, urge and encourage organizations and enterprises which were subjected to application to use electronic invoices in the fourth quarter of 2019.
