According to Decision 2292/QD-TCHQ, the Steering Team is in charge of directing, monitoring the team in building processes for customs management, inspection, supervision, and control at the passenger and cargo terminals at Long Thanh international airport, and related technical processes to ensure progress.

Based on the task performance and actual requirement of the working team, the Team leader will adjust, supplement, and assign specific tasks to the team’s members to ensure effective progress during implementation.

The supportive team is responsible for developing the process of customs management, inspection, supervision, and control at the passenger and cargo terminals at Long Thanh international airport, and related technical processes to ensure progress.

Specifically, the team is in charge of building processes of inspection and supervision of luggage of exit, entry and transit people and means of transport; exported, imported, and transit goods; model diagram of customs equipment installation location.

The team develops processes for analysis, screening of targeting subjects and flights; and built processes related to customs control for passengers, cargo, and means of transport.

The team builds automatic VAT refund Service at the passenger terminal.

Additionally, the working team coordinates with relevant units (Ministry of Transport, Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, Vietnam Airports Corporation) in the construction at Long Thanh International Airport to meet the requirements of customs inspection, supervision and control.

The team implements training after issuing customs procedures, inspection, supervision and control at the passenger and cargo terminals at Long Thanh International Airport.
