12 billion lottery prize officially launched

At the ceremony, representatives of Vietlott said, introduction of the system of optional computerized lottery marked an important turning point in industrialization and modernization of the lottery sector which has been released manually since 1962. This is also a right step in accordance with the guidelines by the Communist Party, the State and the Government.
Accordingly, Vietlott signed a business cooperation agreement with Berjaya Group, a partner experienced in lottery business and technology to investment in technical systems for meeting G7 standards. Vietlott’s system was ordered from the United States to ensure its operation in a true and transparent manner. On the basis of such experience and technology, computerized lottery operation provided by Vietlott promises to bring many benefits to customers and contribute a greater amount to the State budget.
Vietlott operates on a national scale and is now a 100% state owned enterprise under the Ministry of Finance, but the whole tax revenues arising in business, such as VAT, special consumption tax, income tax from the lottery business activities will be entirely left to the localities where there are computerized lottery operations. This revenue is used for investment and development targets in line with the rules of the Law on State Budget and the regulations by the Government, the Ministry of Finance, focusing in areas of health, education and social welfare.
Computerized Lottery product MEGA 6/45 costs 10,000 VND each. When participating, players buy tickets at any place of sale, under Vietlott agents. Accordingly, each customer randomly selects 6 numbers from 1-45 with Jackpot prize worth at least up to 12 billion vnd . The main attraction of the computerized lottery Mega of 6/45 is a minimum prize is also up to 12 billion. In addition, awards will be accumulated until there is a winner. This means, if there are no winners upon each spin, the prize will be added to the succeeding spin. Fixed operation dates will be on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. |
