Sharing about the production and export situation of businesses, Mr. Phung Quoc Man said that according to some signals recorded in the international market, at present, inflation in the US is gradually decreasing, only Consumption is starting to increase again, furniture inventories are falling, the construction industry is experiencing an increase in demand...

At the same time, according to data from Vietnam Customs, since the beginning of the third quarter of 2023, Vietnam's wood export situation has shown positive signs of recovery. Export turnover in August 2023 reached over US $ 1.1 billion after a long period of decline.

Currently, Vietnam is the fifth largest exporter of wood and wood products in the world with significant demand for wood processing machinery and components. On average each year, Vietnamese businesses invest about US $240 million in importing wood processing machinery.

"VietnamWood 2023 Exhibition takes place at the right time when the wood industry is showing signs of recovery, preparing to enter a new cycle after a long period of challenges with economic fluctuations" - Mr. Man assessed.

Amid the recovery of the US economy in the second half of 2023, the construction industry is experiencing an increase in demand and revitalizing Vietnam's wood processing market.

With the above positive trend, the 15th International Exhibition on industrial machinery and equipment for the woodworking chair industry 2023 (VietnamWood 2023) has more than 600 booths from 28 different countries and territories to introduce the latest wood processing product lines.
