Vietnam president rolls out red carpet for Egypt’s Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi
At the invitation of President Tran Dai Quang, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi arrives at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi (above) to begin his two-day state visit.

The two presidents hold talks after the welcoming ceremony.
At the talks, President Tran Dai Quang starts the meeting extending a warm welcome to President el-Sisi to Vietnam saying it represent an historic milestone in the two countries bilateral relations.
The visit of President el-Sisi also demonstrates a determined commitment to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam, says President Tran Dai Quang.
At the end of talks, President Tran Dai Quang and President el-Sisi witness the signing of cooperation documents between the two countries.
Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh and Sahar Naar sign an MOU to establish a subcommittee on trade and industry cooperation the two governments.
An MOU on sea transport between the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Ministry of Transport of Egypt is also signed.
Nguyen The Ky, VOV President, and Sameh Shoury, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, sign an MOU on cooperation between Radio the Voice of Vietnam and the National Radio Station of Egypt.
In addition, an MOU for a Tourism Cooperation Program for 2017-2019 between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ministry of Tourism of Egypt is signed.
After the signing ceremonies, President Tran Dai Quang and President el-Sisi preside over a press conference to announce the outcome of talks between the two leaders and answer reporters’ questions.
