In accordance with Government Decree 94/2013/ND-CP of 12th November 2012 on alcohol production and business, the General Department of Taxation released stamps for domestic alcohol as follows:
In the case where alcohol is produced in the domestic market of 20%/vol or higher, using low-speed machinery or manually, the stamps must be coated with special stickers. Stamps must be printed in 4 colours: blue, red, black and yellow with interwoven designs. Stamps are printed into rolls, the number of stamps must include 7 characters and the characters are larger from left to right.

The General Department of Taxation has requested Tax authorities at all levels to sell stamps for domestic alcohol in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Finance. The price of these stamps in 2016 included the cost of issue under current regulations from 364.4 vnd to 435.9 vnd.
