That is the direction of the General Department of Vietnam Customs with the Ford Vietnam Co., Ltd on the obstacles related to the taxable value consultation of the implementation of Dispatch 16875/BTC-PC of the Ministry of Finance.
The General Department of Vietnam Customs said, in order to simplify the administrative procedure and facilitate for the business, under Clause 3, Article 25 of Circular 38/2015/TT-BTC stipulated on using the one-time consultation to apply for the next import and export if the enterprises fully meet all conditions.
Specially: goods are imported or exported under the same sales contract and divided into multiple shipments; the information and data for inspection and determination of Customs value is not changed; the declarant makes a written request for one-time consultation and commits to use the consultation result for the next export or import.

In order to strengthen the management of taxable value for imported cars, under Dispatch 16875/BTC-PC, the Ministry of Finance requested that in the process of implementation of the clearance procedure for imported cars, Customs has responsibility to inspect closely on the declared value and must consult on price in the process of Customs procedures.
