Nguyen Phuong Tra, Deputy Permanent Representative of Vietnam to the United Nations (UN) has emphasized pandemic control measures, including universalization of vaccine to adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic in the new normal and ensure social security to maintain socio-political stability.

Ambassador Pham Thi Kim Anh, Chargé d'Affaires of the Vietnam Delegation to the United Nations, delivered a speech on behalf of ASEAN at the Open Debate of the UN Security Council on Children and Armed Conflict in New York on July 10.

Vietnamese Ambassador to the US Pham Quang Vinh emphasised the role of regional mechanisms in promoting trust building and cooperation in peace, stability and development in the region while attending a recent seminar on Asia-Pacific security.
