Seventh NA session due to open on May 20

The session will spend 12 working days focusing on law building, said Vice Chairman of the NA office Nguyen Manh Hung. The NA will spend two and a half days on question-and-answer (Q&A) session, and the remaining time on socio-economic issues, the State budget, supervision work and other issues.

During the 7^th session, NA deputies will consider and pass seven bills and two resolutions, and discuss nine other draft laws.

The NA is also scheduled to consider and ratify a resolution approving the joining of the International Labour Organisation’s Convention 98 concerning the Application of the Principles of the Right to Organise and to Bargain Collectively.

Vice Chairman of the NA Committee for Social Affairs Bui Sy Loi said the entire basic content of the convention had been integrated into the 2012 Labour Code, and the legislature will revise the remaining content to ensure the smooth enforcement of the convention.
