VCN- In 2019, the losses of Hung Nghiep Formosa Ha Tinh Company were4.2 timesthe losses of the previous year, meanwhile, the losses of PoscoYamoto Vina Steel Joint Stock Company were2.5 times higher than those in 2018. Both major FDI enterprises of the steel industry face difficulties in debt repayment.

VCN- By the end of 2020, the results show that the progress of equitisation and divestment in enterprises in 2020 as well as in the 2016-2020 period is still slow, and has not reached the target. It is expected that the progress and results of equitisation and divestment in 2021 will be accelerated when a series of policies and mechanisms have been completed.

VCN- The impact of the Covid-19 pandemicand the legal tightening in construction investment activities have slowed down the number of housing products offered for sale on the market. In particular, the lack of affordable apartments is one of the concerns.

VCN - Regarding the disbursement of some major public investment projects and important national projects, the Ministry of Planning and Investment said that with the Eastern North-South expressway, the total disbursed capital of 11 component projects is VND5,530billion ofVND8,970 billion of the plan for 2020, reaching 61.6 percent. Progress of project implementation and disbursement of this project basically meets the proposed plan.
