At 9 am on November 1 (local time), Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his high-ranking delegation landed at Jackson International Airport, in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea for the 26th APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting

Those among prominent guests welcoming PM Phuc included Papua New Guinea Deputy Prime Minister Charles Abel, Minister for APEC Tkatchenko, Mayor of Port Moresby City Powes Parkop, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Quoc Khanh.

Papua New Guinea government leaders welcome Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his delegation.

As planned, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc is scheduled to meet Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea, attend a welcome ceremony for APEC leaders hosted by the host country’s Prime Minister, a dialogue with the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC), and the APEC Leaders' Dialogue with the Leaders from Pacific island nations, and meet with Prime Minister Vanuatu.

Warm welcome with traditional rituals is given to PM Phuc

The Vietnamese government leader will attend the APEC Leaders' Dialogue with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), attend a number of closed sessions, and work with APEC leaders.
