Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong’s article “Several theoretical and practical issues on socialism and the path towards socialism in Vietnam” shows the dialectical vision and willpower of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), according to Cuban researcher Rosario del Pilar Pentón Díaz.
Rosario del Pilar Pentón Díaz, member of the Party Central Committee and Rector of the Ñico López Higher Studies School of the Party, said that the article is a valuable document from the angles of theory and methodology.
Party General Secretary Trong highlighted the dialectical vision of the CPV, and showed his audacious views in assessing the complexity of the transition to socialism and the creative interpretation of Marxism-Leninism.
She emphasised that the Party leader analysed economic, political and ideological trends, and spotlighted both successes and shortcomings of the path to socialism in Vietnam.
She appreciated the principles that Trong mentioned in the article such as the Party's role in engaging people in a common social building project and the role of the people as the subject of power. These basic principles ensure the sustainability and continuity of the socialism process, she added./.
