Over 100 entrepreneurs honoured at 2019 Business Night

Notable attendees at the event include former National Assembly chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung, in addition to over 500 businesspeople.

Deputy PM Vuong Dinh Hue grants Labour Medals and certificates of merit on behalf of the Prime Minister to both inpiduals and groups from Hanoi for their outstanding achievements in the fields of business and social activities.

In his speech, Chairman Duc Chung acknowledges the significant contribution made by the Hanoi business community, most notably Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises.

Chairman Duc Chung presents certificates of merit to inpiduals and groups who have made notable contributions to the business community. During the Business Night event, organisers honour over 100 businesses which have enjoyed a strong performance during 2019. In addition to this, it is noted that the Hanoi business community also raised approximately VND2.4 billion to assist poor people from across the country.

At present, Hanoi is home to 274,000 businesses and ranks second nationwide in terms of quantity of businesses. In September alone, the capital city welcomed 20,500 newly-established enterorises, up 9 per cent on-year.
