There have been many shortcomings in the management and supervision of State capital for Vietnam’s enterprises.

According to the Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment, Mr. Dao Quang Thu, in recent times, there have been many shortcomings in the management and supervision of State capital for Vietnam’s enterprises.

"The Government has assigned the Ministry of Planning and Investment to research and study models on managing State capital for enterprises and propose the most suitable model on managing State capital for enterprises", the leader of the Ministry of Planning and Investment said.

According to Mr. Dao Quang Thu, the Ministry of Planning and Investment has submitted a proposal to the Government to establish a super committee to monitor and manage State capital for enterprises directly under the Government. However, due to a large scale, we have to wait for the Government to work with relevant state agencies.

Earlier, in Resolution No. 27/NQ-CP, the Government requested the Ministry of Planning and Investment to fulfill the project soon and submit it to the Government in the first quarter of 2017.
