A welcome ceremony for Israeli President Reuven Ruvi Rivlin and his spouse was hosted by State President Tran Dai Quang with full honours on March 20 at Presidential Palace in Hanoi.

President Rivlin is on a week-long visit to Vietnam March 19-25 at the invitation of his Vietnamese counterpart Tran Dai Quang.

In a media interview on the threshold of the visit, President Rivlin said the cooperation relations between Israel and Vietnam have grown and flourished and both nations will mark the 25th anniversary of diplomatic ties next year.
