The General Department of Vietnam Customs issued guidance documents and sent them to local customs departments relating to the implementation of administrative procedures of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development through NSW.
Three procedures were: granting a certificate for the exported consignment of seafood manufacturing at the establishment in the list of priorities and granting the certificate for the exported shipment of seafood manufacturing at the establishment outside the list of priorities (under the management of the National Agro - Forestry - Fisheries Quality Assurance Department) through the National Single Window expanding to five markets in Brazil, Argentina, Indonesia, New Zealand and Panama; granting phytosanitary certificates for import goods, state inspection of food safety for imported plant-based goods, and state inspection of quality of animal feed and aquatic feed originating from imported plant (under the management of the Plant Protection Department) were officially deployed through the NSW on October 17.
The General Department of Vietnam Customs requested local customs departments decentralise the use of the function of looking up procedures on the E-Customs system among customs officials.
In necessary cases, customs officials at the branches were requested to access the E-Customs system to look up and exploit the above-mentioned deeds and certificates and were not allowed to request firms submit copies of documents issued through the National Single Window during the implementation of customs procedures.
