Quang Ninh Customs strives to collect over VND17,800 billion in revenue in 2025

Quang Ninh Customs Department has launched an emulation movement on the occasion of the beginning of 2025 to strive to excellently complete political tasks and successfully organize Party congresses at all levels.

At the same time, the department will perfect the streamlined organizational structure; build professional staff; operate effectively and efficiently, contributing to making a breakthrough in socio-economic development growth of the entire political system of Quang Ninh province and successfully implementing Digital Customs and Smart Customs under the Customs Development Strategy to 2030.

To successfully implement the emulation movement in 2025, Quang Ninh Customs Department has set 7 key tasks.

Improving the quality of customs reform and modernization, drastically implementing support solutions, accompanying businesses, improving the business environment, and enhancing competitiveness.

Strengthen the management and operation of the State revenue collection in 2025, drastically implement solutions to prevent revenue loss through import-export management.

Strictly control the area, proactively combat, prevent and handle smuggling, trade fraud, illegal transportation of goods and drugs across the border.

The department will closely follow the direction of General Secretary To Lam building an “elite, streamlined, strong, efficient, valid and effective political system” and the Conclusion of the Central Steering Committee on reviewing the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, term XII, continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the streamlined and effective political system, and the Projects of ministries, branches and the Conclusion of the Provincial Steering Committee on reorganizing the apparatus to build and implement the reorganization of the apparatus of agencies and units in accordance with the policy, achieving the set goals and requirements.

The department will focus on implementing the financial management mechanism of the Customs sector and the new administrative accounting regime from January 1, 2025; determine needs, make estimates, allocate estimates, implement estimates and finalize budget expenditures, ensuring savings, efficiency, and compliance with regulations.

The department will launch emulation movements to encourage officials to successfully complete their political tasks, closely linked to studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style under Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo and the directions of the Central, ministries, branches and provinces on promoting patriotic emulation movements for the 2025-2030 term.

To successfully perform key tasks, in 2025, Quang Ninh Customs Department will effectively deploy solutions such as promoting the application of information technology to contribute to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of state management of customs; continue to deploy projects on customs reform and modernization, and administrative procedure control; effectively deploy the National Single Window and the ASEAN Single Window.

The department will also continue to promote the effective development of the Customs - Business partnership with practical support solutions to remove difficulties for businesses, attract businesses to carry out procedures in the area; encourage and facilitate businesses to effectively participate in the Program to encourage businesses to voluntarily comply with customs laws.

The department will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of customs on the basis of improving the efficiency of management, using equipment, technical means and applying information technology to ensure the requirements of customs inspection and supervision on land, sea and air routes.

Quang Ninh Customs Department sets six targets:

- Quang Ninh Customs Department strives to accomplish the political tasks in 2025, achieving the title of "Excellent Labor Collective" in 2025.

- The department strives to exceed key targets assigned by the Ministry, industry and province, in which the State revenue reaches over VND17,800 billion.

- The department strives to reach over 90% of affiliated and subordinate units to gain the title of “Advanced Labor Collective”, of which 20% achieve the title of “Excellent Labor Collective”.

- The department strives for over 90% of officials to achieve the title of advanced workers.

- The department strives to gain 80% of party organizations under the Party Committee that will successfully complete their tasks, of which 20% complete their tasks excellently. The rate of party members that successfully complete their tasks is 80% or more, of which 20% complete their tasks excellently.

- The department strives to reach the goal that leaders of organizations will successfully complete their tasks and build agencies meeting the standards of “Safety in security and order”.
