Accordingly, the GDVC instructs the departments to check information about competent agencies and organizations issuing certificates of origin under the RCEP on the website: https://rcep.sharepoint.com (Login account and password will be announced later).
The contents include information about the competent agency or organization issuing certificates of origin under the RCEP:
Information about the seal and signature of the agency or organization authorized to sign on the C/O (section: Specimen Signatures);
Information on exporters eligible to issue self-certification documents of origin (section: List of Approved Exporters).
The GDVC’s instruction is based on regulations of Circular 05/2022/TT-BCT dated February 18, 2022 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade stipulating the rules of origin of goods in the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, and on the notification of the ASEAN Secretariat.
