Vietnam, RoK boost connectivity in technological supply-demand
Yun Ju-seul, deputy director of KOTRA’s office in Hanoi speaks at the event
The event was jointly held by the Hai Phong Department of Science and Technology, along with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).
Yun Ju-seul, deputy director of KOTRA’s office in Hanoi, said the event aims to provide RoK businesses with import-export opportunities in Vietnam, strengthen connectivity in supply and demand in the technological field, and create opportunities to recruit high-quality human resources.
In response, Duong Ngoc Tuan, director of the Hai Phong Department of Science and Technology, singled out RoK businesses for applying high-tech to production, contributing to socio-economic development in destinations where RoK businesses have invested in, including Hai Phong.
Tuan noted that the gathering is an ideal platform in which Vietnamese enterprises can gain access to advanced science and technology from their partners. It provides local firms with the opportunity to make a shrewd choice in investing in science and technology in order to improve the overall efficiency of their production and business activities.
Aside from the RoK, Hai Phong is planning to organise such similar connectivity gatherings with other partners such as Japan and China during the remainder of the year, Tuan added.
Hoang Hai An, a representative of Tien Phong Plastic Joint Stock Company, pointed out that the event will allow domestic enterprises to gain access to products they need in a fast manner, whilst providing them with a platform in which to seek suitable suppliers and partners in the future.
