Two administrative procedures in Customs area

Minister of Finance issued Decision 20161/QD-BTC announcing a new administrative procedure and revised administrative procedures and abolished procedures in the customs area under the management of the Ministry of Finance.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Finance publicizesone new administrative procedure and onerevised administrative procedure in the customs area within the scope and management of the Ministry of Finance for administrative procedures implemented at the Customs Department level and the central level.
For the new administrative procedure, the Ministry of Finance publicizes the procedure for inspection of discounts on imported goods under the competency of provincial, inter-provincial and municipal Customs Departments.
For the revised administrative procedure which is the procedure for inspection of discounts on imported goods under the management of the General Department of Vietnam Customs, specified in Clause 2, Article 1 of Circular 60/2019/ TT-BTC dated August 30, 2019 of the Ministry of Finance.
The Ministry of Finance also abolished the procedure for inspection of discounts on imported goods announced in the Minister of Finance's Decision 2770/QD-BTC of December 25, 2015.
In order to widely publicize to the business community and customs declarants, the General Department of Vietnam Customs requires its subordinate units to publicize administrative procedures under their competency announced at Decision 2061/QD-BTC as specified in Articles 9 and 10 of the Regulation on control of customs procedures; to handleadministrative procedures in accordance with the provisions of legal documents, operational processes the Customs sectors and Decision 2061/QD-BTC.
The General Department of Vietnam Customs requires the Customs IT and Statistics Department to work with the Import-Export Duty Department to publicizethe administrative procedures announced in Decision 2061/QD-BTC on the General Department of Vietnam Customs’ portal.
The Import-Export Department works with the General Department Office to update administrative proceduresannounced in Decision 2061/QD-BTC into the National Database on Administrative Procedures.
