Priority is given to wood and wood products, mineral processing, garment and textiles and electronics.

Tuyen Quang also encourages investment in large scale industrial projects using advanced and environmentally-friendly technology in industrial parks and clusters.

Besides industry, the province also hopes to attract investment into hi-tech and green agriculture, particularly farm produce processing in association with developing material growing zones, in order to raise the value of export products.

The province has coordinated with agencies under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Vietnamese trade offices overseas to build a database on markets and export lines and keep updated on issues related to trade defence, technical barriers and requirements in target markets.

The province has paid attention to trade promotion activities in potential markets. It has built long-term promotion plans for key products and assist local producers in advertising products.

Tuyen Quang has brought local products to various trade fairs and expos as well as events with participation of foreign investors. At the same time, the province advocates the use of digital tools in commerce and exports, especially the sale of goods on e-commerce platforms.

The province aims to raise total export revenue to 190 million USD in 2025 and 330 million USD in 2030, while increasing the ratio of modern machinery and equipment as well as advanced and clean technology among imports.
