In the first 7 months of 2016, the total revenue of the Taxation is about 486.826 billion vnd.

Specifically, the revenue from crude oil is 23.928 billion vnd, equivalent to 42.9% of the estimate; the domestic revenue is 462.898 billion vnd, equivalent to 61.3% of the estimate.

According to the General Department of Taxation, the progress of domestic revenue in the first 7 months of 2016 is equivalent to the average level of that in the last 2 years (at 60.5% of the estimate in 2015 and 62% of the 2014 estimate).

There are 12 of 16 revenues at the fair level, including a number of great charges such as the revenues in the public sector, trade and services at 65.8%; enterprises with foreign investment at 69.5%; personal income tax revenue at 65.1%; environmental protection tax at 66.8%; Registration fees at 66.6% and collection of land use at 91.1% of the estimate.

In comparision with the estimate, the domestic revenues of many provinces in the first 7 months of 2016 have reached a fair result, including 46 of 63 provinces ensuring the standard of the estimate (revenue of more than 58%) and 21 of 63 provinces have achieved a good result (revenue of more than 65%).

According to the General Department of Taxation, the economy in the first 7 months is quite positive with the stability of the whole economy including controlled inflation, a stable exchange rate and foreign exchange market, attracting capital investment significantly, the real estate market warming up and high sales of automobiles, motorcycles, etc, all of which contributes to increasing State revenue.

Moreover, in order to get the above results, we have implemented on the basis of the proper administrative mechanisms, policies and convenient processes of tax declaration, tax collection, tax payment and settlement of administrative procedures for taxpayers in 2016, which is stable, consolidated and appropriate in the new situation, promoting economic growth and generating revenues for the State budget.

In the management of tax, from the beginning of 2016, under the direction of the Government, the Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Taxation, many local tax authorities have reviewed and evaluated collection of taxes carefully and proposed solutions to exceed the estimate of the Government.

The General Department of Taxation has also asked the tax offices to regularly inspect and review the number of registered business enterprises, the number of businesses with no business activities, or ceased operations in order to strictly manage taxpayers properly and collect the adequate revenue of taxes into the state budget.
