VCN – A suspected smuggled Lexus RX-330 car has been seized by An Giang intersectional anti-smuggling team at a motel near the border area.

Competent agencies inspect the suspected smuggled car

According to An Giang Police, the intersectional anti-smuggling of the province temporarily seized a car with a foreign plate and unknown origin, suspected as a smuggled car at a motel in Vinh Nguon ward, Chau Doc City.

On May 26, the team coordinated with the local police to inspect the Huong Lua motel at Vinh Nguon ward managed by Tran Van Long, 37.

The working team found a Lexus RX- 330 used car with Cambodian plate No.0383 named by TRIV KHEAT on the registration certificate. The car is worth VND600 million.

Mr. Tran Van Long did not present documents proving that the car is permitted to be used in Vietnam.
