The proliferation of counterfeit goods and intellectual property (IP) violations in e-commerce has become a significant challenge for businesses and authorities alike. This issue was highlighted at the seminar titled "Enhancing Cooperation to Combat Smuggling, Counterfeiting, and IP Violations," organized by Customs Magazine last weekend in Ho Chi Minh City.

The open sale of counterfeit goods, items with unclear origins, and intellectual property (IP) infringing products on e-commerce websites has become a growing trend.

At the seminar "Customs and businesses work together to promote the flow of import and export goods through Cai Mep - Thi Vai port complex" held by Customs Magazine in coordination with the Department of Transport of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province and the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Customs Department on July 31, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sang, Deputy Director of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Customs Department shared the solutions being implemented by the unit to facilitate import and export goods through Cai Mep - Thi Vai port complex, contributing to realizing the potential and advantages of this area.
