According to data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in the first 6 months of 2023, rice exports reached 4.27 million tons and 2.3 billion USD, up 22.2% in volume and 34.7% in value over the same period in 2022. The prospect of rice exports in the last 6 months of 2023 is assessed to be relatively positive, for the whole year of 2023, exports rice is expected to reach 8 million tons, earning a value of 4 billion USD.
