VCN - Enterprises are experiencing a tough situation, and there is a negative assessment of the prospect of recovery in the remaining months of 2023. Therefore, board IV recommends the Prime Minister 4 groups of solutions: support to reduce costs, improve competitiveness; access to loans; improve the business investment environment; market access support for businesses.
New model is a lever for fundamental and comprehensive reform of specialised inspection

VCN- The Ministry of Finance (General Department of Customs) has completed and submitted to Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc the project "Reforming the model of quality inspection and food safety inspection for imported goods". The scheme aims to reform the specialised inspection of imported goods according to the guidelines and directions of the Government. Under the new model, many inspection procedures have been simplified by the source of information and the importer's database is concentrated on one focal point, the Customs office. The project is seen as not only positively impacting import-export businesses but also the economy, via breakthrough reform orientations.
Newly issued Circular 13/TT-BTC: Facilitate goods with intellectual property protection requirements

VCN - Many new regulations on inspection, supervision and suspension of customs procedures for imported and exported goods that require protection of intellectual property rights (IP); control of counterfeit goods and goods infringing intellectual property rights specified in Circular No. 13/2020/TT-BTC amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular No. 13/2015/TT-BTC of January 30,2015 of the Minister of Finance.
