Regional business dialogue conference in 2023 to be held

The General Department of Customs, VCCI and USAID will hold a regional business dialogue conference in 2023 in the southern and northern regions to promote import-export activities; remove difficulties for enterprises in the process of carrying out import-export activities; establish a partnership between the government and enterprises in the field of import and export; and strengthen the voice of businesses in the process of developing trade facilitation policies.

Accordingly, the conference in the South is expected to be held on February 24 at Saigon Prince Hotel, address 63 Nguyen Hue, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of about 150 representatives from the People's Committees, departments, agencies, business associations, enterprises in the field of import-export and logistics in the Southeast provinces.

In the Northern region, the conference is expected to take place on the morning of March 2, 2023 at Nam Cuong Hai Duong Hotel, address 1 Vo Nguyen Giap, Hai Duong City, Hai Duong province, with about 150 representatives from People's Committees, departments, agencies, associations, enterprises in the field of import-export and cross-border trade in the provinces and cities of Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Hai Duong and Hung Yen.

For the efficiency and success of the conference, the General Department of Customs requested that local Customs Departments: Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, the Customs Control and Supervision Department, the Import and Export Tax Department, the Customs It and Statistics Department, the Post-Clearance Audit Department, the Risk Management Department and the Legal Department to prepare relevant contents at the conference.

Accordingly, the units should actively prepare contents to answer questions, problems and recommendations of enterprises in the field of customs provided by VCCI before the conference; monitor relevant contents at the conference and prepare contents to answer questions within the scope of management for the General Department's leaders to respond at the conference.
