VCN – The Customs Control team of Quang Tri Customs Department has discovered and handled the case of transporting 4,100 packs of contraband cigarettes.

On 31^st July 2016, when conducting anti-smuggling duties in the customs operation areas, Control team discovered and made a report for certifying 4,100 packs of smuggled cigarettes includes: 3,500 packs of Jet cigarette and 600 packs of Hero cigarettes.

Currently, the owner of this cargo has not yet been. The total cargo is worth 64 million VND.

hrough the report of May 7^th 2016, the Customs inspection team also seized hundreds of products, including: Hikid Milk from Korea; Panasonic Vacuum Cleaners MC-CL455, from Malaysia; Toshiba rice cookers produced in Thailand; Cans of Heineken produced in Holland. The majority of items had unidentified owners.
