Quang Ninh: the violation cases increased 112 percent

Compared to the same period in 2018, cases increased 112 percent and decreased by 11.2 percent in terms of the value of infringing goods.

Through processing, forces handled criminal violations for 48 cases and 63 subjects, handling admistrative violations for 4,468 cases; the amount of money gained from selling confiscated goods and handing out administrative violations was VND 40.01 billion (including monetary penalty was VND 21.21 billion and selling confiscated goods was VND 18.8 billion).

Violations in domestic tax amounted to 1,549 cases and the amount of monetary penalty of aministrative violations was VND 71.89 billion, while collecting additional tax was a cool VND 190.38 billion.

Recently, Steering Committee 389 of Quang Ninh directed synchronised forces to participate, with determination to strictly control smuggling, trade fraud and illegal transportation of goods across borders in the area.

Specifically, the Border Defence force tightened management work along the road border and at sea, while customs forces strengthened inspection and control over border areas.

Inland, police forces intensified the inspection and control of cargo transportation activities, market management forces strengthened inspection and control of market areas, shopping malls, shops, boutiques and fashion shops.
