PM requests to continue customs clearance at border gates

In order for activities of import, export and transportation of goods across borders to go on and meet requirements of the prevention and control of acute respiratory infections caused by new strain of the corona virus, the Prime Minister requested to continue the import, export and transport of goods across the borders while ensuring the prevention and control of the epidemic do not interrupt and affect the business and production of enterprises.
In addition, operators of vehicles carrying goods (without passengers) across borders, flight crews and crews from epidemic areas may enter and exit through the borders (including international border gates and national border gates) but must comply with measures to prevent and control the epidemic, strict medical management and supervision.
Moreover, these people are allowed to visit places of delivery of goods, the isolation point at the border area and are not allowed to move inland. There is a need to ensure complete elimination of possible risks of the epidemic spreading.

With these requirements, the Prime Minister assigned the Ministries of Industry and Trade, Health, Foreign Affairs, Public Security, National Defence, Transport, Finance and People's Committees of provinces and cities to guide and direct the implementation.
