The imported car shipment by Honda from Thailand to Vietnam with C / O form D should enjoy the preferential import tax rate of 0%; special consumption tax from 35% -40% depending on each cubic meter and 10% VAT.

With the above tax rates, according to calculations by the Customs office based on the import declarations of more than 1,000 cars by the Honda Vietnam Company, Hiep Phuoc port Customs Branch will earn more than VND253 billion of VAT and special consumption tax from Honda's first imported car shipment through Hiep Phuoc Port in early 2018.

Previously, on 5th March 2018, Honda Vietnam Company opened five online Customs declarations to fulfil Customs procedures for this car shipment.

With four car models: Jazz, Accord, CR-V and Civic. This is the first shipment imported by Honda Vietnam Company after certificates of vehicle type were issued and the company met all the conditions stipulated in Decree 116/2017 / ND- CP.
