VCN - On the night of 14th August, at Kien Tuong town, Long An, functional forces discovered and seized 2 cases of smuggled cigarettes - nearly 14.000 cigarette packs.

Specifically, upon receiving the reports of a number of subjects in the area of ​​Binh Hiep border town of Kien Tuong using motorcycles to transport cigarettes from Cambodia to Vietnam via border patrol , the Customs control, Long An Customs Department conducted a secret operation by deploying forces and barricades, and chased smugglers on border patrol road trails through the town of Binh Tan Kien Tuong.

Seeing forces pursued drastic functions, and taking advantage of the dark, complex terrain, and slippery roads, the smugglers disposed of the goods included 900 packs of smuggled Hers brand cigarettes. Customs control teams currently are pursuing the case as prescribed by law.

Also in the night 14-8, in the province of Kien Tuong border town, Team 5 of Branch Markets Management in Long An Province discovered and arrested one truck carrying 13,000 packs of smuggled cigarettes being transported from Cambodia to Vietnam. Market Management forces conducted arrests and pursuing the investigation process.
