Import cars decrease leads to decline revenue by 1,000 billion vnd at HCM City Customs

According to the HCM City Customs Department, in July of 2017, the turnover of imported cars under 9 seat group was only reached $US 5,326,721 (288 vehicles), while in the second quarter of June 2017, it reached $US 27,776,699 ( 1,251 vehicles), reduced by $US 22,449,948. Hence it led to decrease in the budget collection about 1,000 billion vnd.

Besides that, the import turnover of diesel, fuel oil, aviation fuel group reached only $US 179,294,091, while the second quarter of June 20117, it reached $US 199,817,095, decreased by $US 20,523,004. Thus it caused reducing revenue by 90 billion vnd; Turnover of imported petrol decreased $US 23,666,313, reducing revenue by 70 billion vnd. Additionally, the turnover of imported iron and steel decreased by $US 7,344,996 so it caused reducing in revenue by 40 billion vnd.

As of 31/7/2017, the revenue of HCM City Customs Department is 61,000 billion vnd, reaching 55.96% of the current appropriation and reaching 55.45% of the target by 110 trillion vnd.
